VP Duterte says officials should stop politics and prioritize peace, order, and development

Vice President Sara Duterte called on government officials to set aside politics and focus on addressing the country’s pressing concerns.

Speaking during an ambush interview in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, on Wednesday, Duterte said public officials should concentrate on improving peace, order and national development instead of engaging in political activities.

The vice president also said issues involving transparency and accountability should not be used if the real objective is to advance political interests.
