Davao man robbed at gunpoint after picking up parcel

A man was held at gunpoint and robbed after picking up a parcel in Barangay San Antonio, Buhangin, Davao City around noon on July 10, local police reported.

The victim, identified only as alias “Ralph,” 32, was visiting a friend’s home to claim a parcel when a man on a motorcycle allegedly approached and pointed a .45 caliber pistol at him.

The suspect forcibly took Ralph’s sling bag, which contained P6,500 in cash and a mobile phone worth P24,000. The phone also held an e-wallet containing nearly P2,000.

According to the Buhangin Police Station, the suspect quickly fled toward Barangay Anglionto after the incident. Authorities have launched a search for the gunman, but no arrests have been made as of this writing.
