4 missing fishermen rescued in Sibuyan sea

Four fishermen reported missing in the Sibuyan Sea were successfully rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Capiz on February 5. The fishermen, all residents of Mandaon, Masbate, had been missing since February 4 after their motorized boat encountered engine trouble.

According to reports, the fishermen departed on February 2 but were reported missing two days later. Personnel from the Coast Guard Sub-station Libas located the group approximately 5 nautical miles west of Culasi Point. All four were found in good condition.
