₱10M worth of shabu seized in Bacolod; 5 nabbed

Police arrested five individuals and confiscated over ₱10 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, on Saturday night, June 28.

The City Drug Enforcement Unit identified the arrested suspects as alias Linda, 42, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI); John, 23; Angelo, 23; Richard, 34; and Cheryl, 36.

Authorities seized approximately 1,535 grams of suspected shabu during the operation. The total estimated street value of the illegal drugs reached ₱10,438,000.

Police have placed all suspects in custody. They are now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The operation is part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign of the Philippine National Police in Western Visayas.
