Host Robi Domingo has confirmed that he and actor John Lloyd Cruz have reconciled following a reported misunderstanding in late 2025.
In an interview, Domingo gave a straightforward answer when asked if they had already made amends, saying the issue had been settled and was no longer worth revisiting.
Domingo also expressed gratitude to Cruz for reaching out to several Star Magic managers and their mutual friends to help resolve the tension between them.
The controversy stemmed from the December 22, 2025 wedding reception of Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde, where Domingo served as host.
Cruz was reportedly offended when Domingo asked Marudo about being the “Mr. Atayde,” after asking Atayde a similar question about being the “Mrs. Marudo.”
At the time, Atayde clarified that the incident had not affected their wedding.
With Domingo now confirming their reconciliation, the two appear ready to move past the misunderstanding and leave the controversy behind.
