Baby Dolls member Juby Sabino is facing backlash from Donny Pangilinan’s fans after sharing an intimate dream about the actor during a television appearance.
The controversy arose when host Vice Ganda asked the group members about their celebrity crushes while discussing their song “Oohh Lala Baby.”
Sabino named Pangilinan as her celebrity crush and revealed that she became even more attracted to the actor after dreaming about him.
In response, Donny’s fan group, DONATORS PHILIPPINES, expressed disappointment over the singer’s remarks, raising concerns about the sexualization of the actor.
Some netizens also drew comparisons between the incident and the earlier controversy involving Quezon City Representative Jesus “Bong” Suntay over his remarks about actress Anne Curtis.
Pangilinan’s supporters stressed that a person’s dignity and personal boundaries should never be treated as a joke, regardless of gender or status in the entertainment industry.
