Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo has qualified for the vault and floor exercise finals at the 54th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in the Netherlands.
Yulo scored 14.500 in the floor exercise and 14.266 in the vault during the qualifying round.
However, the Filipino gymnast missed out on the all-around final after finishing 34th in the category.
Yulo admitted that limited preparation time following the Asian Games, which concluded on October 4, affected his performance.
He added that his previous injury is no longer bothering him and that he remains focused on improving the areas of his routines that need work.
The floor exercise final is scheduled for Saturday, followed by the vault final on Sunday.
