Actress Dawn Chang is officially engaged to her partner, National Police Commission Commissioner Ralph Calinisan, after he surprised her with a marriage proposal on Kapamilya Deal or No Deal on Saturday.
Host Luis Manzano set up the romantic moment by hinting that Chang was about to face a question more important than the game show’s signature “Deal or no deal?”
Calinisan then took the stage, thanked Chang for her patience and understanding, and admitted that despite their ongoing wedding preparations, he had yet to formally propose.
He then got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me, Dawn?”
Visibly emotional, Chang received the surprise proposal as the studio audience erupted in cheers, marking a memorable milestone in their relationship.
