The 40th Negros Trade Fair (NTF) officially opened Tuesday, September 22, at the SMX Convention Center Aura in SM Aura Premier, bringing together producers, entrepreneurs and local government units from across the Negros Island Region (NIR) and Siquijor.
Organized by the Association of Negros Producers (ANP), this year’s fair carries the theme “Butlak,” a Hiligaynon word referring to the first light of a new day or the blooming of life.
ANP vice president for marketing and 40th NTF chairperson Mary Ann Colmenares said organizers are aiming to surpass the P151 million in combined sales and booked business-to-business orders recorded during last year’s fair.
The 2025 edition generated P54 million in spot cash sales and P97 million in booked B2B orders during its six-day run.
The milestone edition is also significant as it brings together participants from the expanded Negros Island Region, with the full participation of Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental and Siquijor.
The 2026 fair features 178 booths, showcasing food, fashion, crafts, home products and other locally made goods.
The Negros Trade Fair will run until September 27.*
