Atasha Muhlach is getting candid about the downside of being in the spotlight, admitting that some of the criticism she receives from netizens can still sting.
The young actress is currently taking on the role of Annie Batungbakal in the musical Bongga Ka Day!, where she has been receiving mixed reactions from audiences online.
Atasha acknowledged that, despite being in showbiz, she is still human and cannot completely shield herself from hurtful comments.
Rather than letting the criticism get in the way, however, she chooses to treat it as part of the job and keeps her attention on delivering a performance that audiences can enjoy.
For Atasha, what matters most is giving her best and making sure that the audience leaves the theater entertained.
Meanwhile, her parents, Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez, have continued to stand by their daughter following the musical’s opening on September 18.
Aga, in particular, encouraged Atasha to tune out the negativity, reminding her that she is simply doing her job and giving her all on stage.
