Ateneo cleared to compete in UAAP Season 89 despite team-building tragedy

The Ateneo Men’s Basketball Team remains eligible to compete in UAAP Season 89 despite the tragedy involving two of its members, Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili, during a team-building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora.

In its administrative review, the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Board recognized that the Ateneo men’s basketball student-athletes are themselves victims of this tragedy.
