A teacher was killed and four others were injured after a student opened fire inside a high school in Nonthaburi province in Thailand on Friday.
Base on Nonthaburi Provincial Police Commander, the injured include another teacher and three students.
Emergency responders immediately secured the area and evacuated students from the school to ensure their safety while authorities launched an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, the suspected gunman took his life died following the attack.
According to authorities, this is not the first shooting incident recorded in Thailand in recent years, despite repeated calls for stricter firearm regulations.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to determine the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.
