Two suspects linked to the robbery of a gadget store in Toril, Davao City were arrested at a checkpoint in Iligan City following a police hot pursuit operation on the night of July 1.
The suspects were intercepted at the Suarez Border Control Point in Barangay Suarez through a joint operation by the Toril Police Station and police units in Iligan City.
Authorities identified the suspects only by their aliases, “Isah,” 37, and “Kal,” 33. Both are residents of Marawi City.
The arrests stemmed from the investigation into the robbery of a gadget store in Toril. Police tracked the suspects following the incident, leading to the coordinated operation in Iligan City.
The two men were brought to the custody of the Toril Police Station for proper disposition of the charges to be filed against them.
