Remains of athlete Rene Baterbonia arrive in Davao City

The remains of Ateneo student-athlete Rene Baterbonia have arrived in Davao City.

Baterbonia recently passed away along with a fellow member of the Ateneo de Manila University men’s basketball team during a team-building activity in Aurora.

Based on reports, the aircraft carrying Baterbonia’s remains landed at Davao International Airport at around 2:43 a.m.

His remains were first brought to a funeral home before being transported to the Ateneo de Davao University Senior High School–Bangkal Campus, where the wake will be held.

Meanwhile, the university has released the schedule for public viewing.

The public viewing will be held today from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; on June 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and on June 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

In addition, Holy Masses are scheduled to be celebrated today, tomorrow, and on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
