A father was killed while his 14-year-old daughter was injured in a shooting incident inside a computer shop in Barangay Jaclupan, Talisay City, Cebu, authorities said.
The incident occurred at around 5 p.m. on Friday, April 24, while the victims were inside the establishment.
Police reported that the unidentified father was shot while inside the computer shop. His daughter, who was with him at the time of the incident, was also injured during the attack.
The wounded minor was immediately rushed to a hospital for medical treatment. Authorities did not release further details on the extent of her injuries.
The father later died as a result of the shooting, police said.
Authorities have yet to identify the suspect responsible for the attack. Police also have not released additional information about how the shooting unfolded inside the computer shop.
Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and interview possible witnesses in an effort to determine the motive behind the attack and identify the person responsible.
