Father stabs wife and two kids to death in Cebu

A father is accused of brutally killing his wife and two young children with a sharp weapon in Barangay Lutac, City of Naga, Cebu.

The suspect, identified by City of Naga police as Carlo Camporedondo, 32, allegedly murdered his wife, Junelyn Jimenez, 32, and their children, John Carlo, 11, and LJ, 2, in a fit of rage.

Authorities confirmed the suspect fled immediately after the attack and remains at large. A manhunt is underway to locate him.

In an interview with Brigada Cebu, Junelyn’s sibling recounted hearing alarming screams from the family’s home. Upon investigation, they found the victims in a pool of blood.

Relatives revealed that Camporedondo frequently displayed jealousy and had previously issued threats against his wife. Police are also probing whether the suspect was under the influence of illegal drugs during the incident.

The incident has shocked the community, with residents calling for justice for the victims. Authorities are appealing to the public for information that could lead to the suspect’s capture.
